My sims game has been lagging, and my sims don't move when i direct them to do any task. I am on a PC, and I don't use any CC or Mods. I have repaired it before launching it the past 2 days, but it is still the same problems. Do I need to wait for a new update or is there something I can do to fix this?
kiaratm09 Please try moving the sims to a new lot, just as a test. If that doesn't help, empty out their personal inventories. You may need to save/quit/reload to see the full effects, but you can use "save as" to rename the save so you don't overwrite the original.
If your save still lags, please try a new one, for comparison's sake.
If the new one lags too, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
