My Sims keeps won't load and still plays the music

Hi! I just got the Sims 4 for Christmas two days ago, and last night it started to act up. I can go onto the game, it goes to the EA and Maxis screen thing, then goes to the Sims 4 logo. It waits at least 5 seconds then starts playing the music you hear after the first loading screen. Please note that my dad and I have tried reinstalling, repairing, updating (both Origin and the Sims 4), removing all of my CC, waiting for it to load, rebooting my computer, and moving my CC to the desktop. I have read threads about my kind of issue, but it's always the CC's fault. That's not my case. I really like the Sims 4 and really want it to work. Any suggestions?

You could also try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

    • Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
    • Tray Folder
    • Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
    • Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave)
    • Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
    • Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

    HI @xo_kiwichi_ox

I would start by trying to update your Windows. Seems your not on the latest build.

Your graphics chip is also below minimum requirements. Did you change anything when it stopped working ?

Before it stopped working, I was just watching some YouTube. It worked the previous time, then it stopped working. And I'll try updating my windows, and see if that helps!

I just updated my Windows, still not working. I'll see if my dad can do anything with the graphics chip.
