Re: Game failing to launch. Windows flagging TS4_Launcher_x64.exe as Trojan

I usually play with mods, but to troubleshoot the issue I completely uninstalled and reinstalled the game, cleared the cache, tried launching it as an administrator, and repaired the game multiple times.

The EA App keeps telling me to repair the game, but I've lost count of how many times I've already done that. The game still won't launch.

At this point, I'm not using any mods. The last time I installed the game, I did a completely clean installation without any mods or custom content, and the problem still persists.

Could you please help me figure out what's causing this and how I can fix it?

i also can’t launch the game today, whenever I open the game it just opens ea apps and nothing happens.I don’t think it’s the problem with ea app because i can open other ea games no problem it’s just sims 4 that has the issue.I don’t use mod and I try all the clear cache thing and it didn’t work.It’s like the other post the internet defender has blocked the launcher i don’t know why
