My toddler won’t eat, clean or change diaper etc etc etc etc

Oh. My. God. I am SO VERY close to punishing my sims in the face! I have a single mom. She got pregnant and now it’s a toddler, right.

A pure nightmare 

Anyway Lloyd (the toddler) was very hungry, I am talking “throwing a tantrum” hungry. So I made the mother put some sandwiches on the goddamn high chair. I swear to god, whichever interaction I tried, the mother wouldn’t put the bloody toddler in the chair! I finally managed to get the child into the chair. But do u think Lloyd ate? NO! HE DIDN’T!

I clicked on the sandwich and told him to eat, but the interaction wouldn’t start. I placed Lloyd on the floor to try and make him eat on the floor, but he kept putting the food in his inventory! I had to travel the mother away to send the child into daycare where he finally ate.

I came back home and tried to change his diaper. It didn’t work. They got like plus relationship as they talked about changing the dirty diaper, but did she change Lloyd’s diaper. NO NO NO NO NO!

God I hate toddlers.

And I can’t wash him in the bloody sink either.

basically, Sims 4 decided to make me suffer.

I have never experienced this before, but I haven’t had a toddler since I got the parenting pack. Can this have anything to do with that?

(I play on a PC Windows 10 btw NOT Legacy edition)

If u can help me; I’ll love you forever cause I’m about to throw a tantrum myself at this point.

and yes, I have repaired my game and restarted my pic. It didn’t work. And also I use mods and cc. But I haven’t gotten anything new since last toddler WHICH WAS A NORMAL TODDLER compared to this angry little chicken who won’t do anything😵

    @SimsSailBe If you have mods/cc you need to test it without them. Did you update them? Everytime Maxis releases a patch you also need to update your Mods.

    @GiardiniDiMarzo It worked perfectly fine again for a second! He ate food and was given a bath. But now he won’t eat again, and the mother won’t put him in the chair!
    What does this mean? I mean it did work just now! But then - gaah

    @SimsSailBe Do you have the option that the mom needs to re-introduce herself to the toddler ? If so, try that.

    Got that exact problem many times. That is, the toddlers not eating. I even got 3 toddlers removed for bad treatment with food IN THEIR HANDS after ordering them to eat for about 20 minutes, actual wall clock time 😠 !

    My workaround is to get MC Command Center and mark your toddler for needs freeze. No more headache 🙌

    You only need to make sure that they build their potty skill, as they'll build the other up to 5 by themselves.

    Just don't forget to remove that notification once they age up.
