Need Help - Sims 4 is lagged

When I open TS4, the game starts normally, and I can still hear the music and sound effects. It also goes to the home page, but the screen is completely frozen. However, I can still hear sounds when I try clicking around the screen. It seems like the game is loading, but it is extremely lagged. I can't even exit the game. There are no error messages showing up. I have already tried clearing the cache and reinstalling the game, and I dont have any mods. I would really appreciate any help!

    nhiendo05​  Please provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
