Never-ending Pet Bath!

Never ending pet bath! I just got Sims 4 Pets and since the beginning, I haven't been able to complete a dog bath. The animations begin - dog gets in bath and owner washes dog. The little circle in ...

And have you tried resetting your sim, the dog, and the bathtub in game?
Type testingcheats true in the cheat box and then shift-click the sims/objects.

    What if you play another household for a little while and then go back to your old family, is the pet-bath finished?

    (use save as instead of save to not overwrite your progress)
