And have you tried resetting your sim, the dog, and the bathtub in game?
Type testingcheats true in the cheat box and then shift-click the sims/objects.
Yes, I did - it didn't work. ☹️
What if you play another household for a little while and then go back to your old family, is the pet-bath finished?
(use save as instead of save to not overwrite your progress)
