Never ending saving screen

Question

My sims game is stuck on a saving screen no matter how much I repair restart nothing works I have never had this issue before it launches fine but I will save a thew times but it will be laggy and then it will just get stuck on a saving screen untill im forced shut down my laptop &nbsp;to try again nothing is working…. I can see others are having the same problems with saving or launching their game is this a bug?? And when will it be resolved? So frustrating&nbsp;

kaishabooboo&nbsp; Does this happen with your Mods folder removed?&nbsp; Please test if you haven't already.&nbsp; You can use "save as" rather than "save" so you don't overwrite your progress.
If this doesn't help, or you use no mods or custom content at all, please start a new save and see whether you can save your progress there, a few times, including after restarting your computer.
