New update causing no built and buy with mods

So I'm having a strange issue where I updated my game and suddenly none of my mods are working. I have cleaned out the cache, repaired the game multiple times, taken out the mods, updated them, ran programs to check the mods but none were broken, reinstalling the game, and basically have done nearly everything I can think of and everytime mods so much as touches my game and I try to play when I try to work on a lot built and buy never loads in, I can't use any of the buttons, and have to force quit my game. Has anyone else had this experience after an update? What should I do?
