Jeminemz mudita08sri I asked someone else for a second opinion, and he had another suggestion. Make sure the EA App is closed and it and the EABackgroundService are NOT running in the Task Manager. Click Windows key-R and enter %programdata% in the run box, then open Electronic Arts > EA Services and move the License folder to the desktop. Then try again to play.
If this helps but breaks a different game (it shouldn't, but just in case), you can move the files in the old License folder to the new folder, except for the one related to Sims 4. Opening the game should create a new copy of the relevant file, so just skip whatever old file has the same name as the new one and restore the others.
Ive tried this. When i remove license it disrupts launching simcity... But also doesnt install any new folder. So i put it back.
Ive read people have success with new user accounts.. Ive tried this also with no luck.
Now im trying a fresh pc downloading sims 4 as we speak. Now if its still the same.. Then what.. What will ea do for me then.
Maybe if someone can just remotely takeover.. Would be ideal
