newest update 'license invalid' WTF

Sorry that you lost your progress. My game works so far, fingers and toes crossed.
I did check for dx9 when the big patch was released, because I am on an old computer. It's running dx11.1 but I thought the game was lagging so I chose dx9 anyway, as graphical details is not why I play this game ;)
So did it work after that?
Game works with Dx9, but i still get the "license expired" when trying to play in offline mode. Only way for me is to pull the internet cord before starting the game.
