Newly downloaded & CAS crashing

I just downloaded the sims 4 and all my add-ons directly from EA onto a brand new gaming laptop. There are no mods, no CC, no saved games or content...nothing - just all my maxis packs. The game loaded and went to the main home screen. When I selected new game from there, CAS opened and the screen almost immediately went white and I couldn't get out of it. After this happened several times in a row I repaired the game through the EA app. Now when the game opens and I select new game, CAS opens then almost immediately crashes. It goes back to the home screen, which is frozen and doesn't allow me to do anything. I don't understand how the game isn't working when everything is newly download and NO modifications have been made. Any suggestions..??

    kseb1226​  Please provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
