No audio in the sims 4 and the sims 3, on windows 8

There is a glitch on ts3 and 4 where no matter how loud the audio is, no sound plays, I've tried to use headphones, but to no avail. I've also tried messing with the options, with the same result. Th...

        -Deleting certain files like Options

        -Setting Audio to Quad

        -Clean Booting

        -Repairing the games

        -Re-installing the games

        -Disabling audio devices

        -Restarting

        -Resetting folders

        -Removing Mods

        That is only off the top of my head.
