No Audio

I have no audio in Sims 4, but it's not just this game that this is happening in. It's also happening on other games not just made by EA. Help, what can I do?!

At first when I bought the game, I had no problems. Then at one point I just noticed the audio wasn't playing. I checked all my sound settings to make sure it wasn't muted, and my headphones were connected, and everything was in place. Then it just started happening on other games, the same exact problem. I know my computer's sound card can handle it, because it can handle other games that are equally as hard to run, if not harder, without a problem.
