No audio
Tried all solutions already in the forums and now at a complete loss.
- Windows 11
- no mods installed
- audio works for all other apps
- audio driver is updated
- speaker application control and exclusive priority are checked
- EA app and Sims 4 are updated
- all volume settings are 100 in game
- tried EA app repair feature
- EA app advanced launch options is cleared
- tried deleting Config and Options game files
- full reinstall of Sims 4
- restarted PC on each of the above
additional info:
- USB audio interface for output (Sims 4 has worked with it previously)
- Sims 4 or EA App do not appear in the Windows volume mixer
- Windows Spatial sound option is greyed out
LordHelmet777 Does this happen with a different sound output device that uses a different connection, for example built-in speakers or earbuds with a jack?
Please also provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
