No sound in The Sims 4.Please help

Hello!

I have had a problem since I installed the Snowey Escape. There is no sound in my game.

I have tried to delete the Config and Options files.
I have tried repairing the game. I have reinstalled the game.
I have cleared the Origin cache:

I have tried to remove all my mods but the problem is still there.

The sound works perfectly with every other game but not with Sims 4. I think it started when I downloaded Snowey Escape, it downloaded it 2 hours after release.

I have the latest update in my game.
I really can not play the game without sound so this really sucks. What more can I do?
How do I fix this?!

@rocksta81  Among the errors in your dxdiag is one for Sonic Studio 3, which is Asus sound software.  You can download a slightly newer version of the software on the Asus download page for your computer; it's listed under Software and Utility.

Or you could try killing the app in the Task Manager before playing; it would be in the background processes list.

By the way, did you ever delete options.ini from Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4?  A problem with that file would explain why the sound worked in the new Windows user account but not your old one.

If you'd rather skip the troubleshooting, you could also move your existing saves and other content to the new user account.  There are various ways to do this: use the Windows sharing feature (right-click on a folder, share with > other account name), move the files via external drive or USB stick, upload the files to cloud storage and download them again.  The best practice is to add the files themselves to the new Sims 4 folder, not copy the whole folder itself.  So for example you'd copy your individual save files to the saves folder rather than moving the entire saves folder.
