not hopeful

Hi i dont think my system is up to it, even though sims3 works,but suggestions of relativly cheap upgrades would be nice,

    Easiest thing to do, for Sims 4 or any other game, is go to http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri

    Select the game from the list and click Can You Run It, first time you'll be asked a few options, just which ever option you prefer.

    System Requirements Lab is very inaccurate. I would advise caution when using that tool.

    From the dxdiag, I see you have a Pentium dual core while the requirement is a Core 2 Duo or equivalent, but it may just be enough. The GPU, while old, does meet the requirements. I think the game will launch, but I can't guarantee you'll get a playable experience. That said, from what I've heard (and experienced), The Sims 4 actually runs smoother than Sims 3.
