Update: I tried a bunch more things. The thing that fixed it was repairing the game for like the 10th time, and it worked. So I don't know what happened but its fixed now. Thanks for your help 🙂

@ticklishtoby25 There's an issue with a delay and freezing on the computer.

Does it happen on all Sims and also on a fresh save ?

Yep. I've tried a new game entirely, and also different households, it still doesn't work
