- @Queen_T21 I have also tried to run the app as an administrator, cleared cache and uninstalled/ reinstalled the EA app and that did not work either.
- @Queen_T21 Go to Documents>Electronic Arts>The Sims 4 and open the file GameVersion.txt If the number you see is 1.107.151.1020 your game is already updated.
- @GiardiniDiMarzo Hello! Thank you for responding and helping. It looks like my game game has already been updated. But now I have been stuck on the loading screen for more than 10 minutes. It usually takes my game 5 minutes or less to load. How can I fix this?
Try to follow the Solution on this other thread made by another player here and see if your game performance will improve.
@Queen_T21 Does your game load if you remove the Mods folder? You don't need to save your progress; this is just for testing.
Yes, my game does load if I take out my mods folder.
@Queen_T21 Then the problem is one or more files in the Mods folder. You can test them in batches, or use the 50/50 method if you have a lot of files to sort through:

It’s updated but I don’t have the new stuff for it.
QueenDiamondx36 Please open Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 and delete the content folder inside. Then open the game, and if the Sims Delivery download doesn't start on its own, open Options > Game Options > Sims Delivery, and click the box to check for updates. Give it a bit of time to download, then quit and reload to see the new items.
Please keep in mind that the new items won't necessarily show as new; you'll need to look for them manually to confirm they're present.
