[OR] Fishing spot at Hermit's House doesn't work

I seldom go to Hermit's House, but since the release of Outdoor Retreat, I've been there with my Sims couple of times. Everytime I went there, the fishing spot (both the sign and water near the sign)...

What exactly happens when you try ? Do you not get the pie menu to choose fishing or do they wave ?

Could you try a new game for testing purposes to see if it has the same issue ?

EDIT: Tested this in my own game and have no issues.
