Outdoor Retreat "Corrupt Files"

Hey! So I'm having trouble with Sims 4 Outdoor Retreat expansion pack. I had to update my game a while ago (I received a notice it was out of date), when i updated it, Origin said that the game was up to date. When i clicked "play", it said a file from the game was corrupt. I later concluded that it was Outdoor Retreat (i uninstalled and reinstalled the game and outdoor retreat wouldn't download and origin said to restart the computer and try again, which i did to no avail).

I have tried to:

-unistall/reinstall origin

-uninstall/reinstall the sims 4

-repair the game

-check the game properties

The game pack is still owned by me, it just wont download.

My computer is a PC and runs on windows, its an older computer, but i have downloaded game packs/expansion packs such as Vampires and City Living and my computer has worked fine. I also have enough storage because I, soon after this happened, i downloaded an expansion pack and it worked fine.  I don't know what else to try, I have also already sent in a report to Origin.  I also dont have any mods, so that isnt a factor.
