Package files for the Sims 4 are showing up as sims3.package files?

hi @charityxelizabeth some users have accidentally installed sims 3 package files and up until recently could have them installed though not show up in the game with out the game crashing. a recent patch should now stop this. see this cc guide for help. http://simswiki.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:TS4_CC_Basics

i myself have not seen any creator wrongly name a file. but if you think its happening just post the link, remove the first part of the address since you are a new member.
