Packs disappeared after the 1.9.129.1030 update
Operating system: Windows 10 (64-bit)
Platform: Steam (some packs owned on Origin)
On the 31st of October, I played The Sims 4 for the first time in months. Problem is, most of my packs disappeared. I got a notification saying I needed to restart the game to reinstall them, but I've opened and closed the game several times since then and nothing happened.
These are the packs I own:
- All expansions except High School Years
- All game packs except Dine Out, StrangerVille, Journey to Batuu, and My Wedding Stories
- Movie Hangout, Romantic Garden, Kids Room, Backyard, Laundry Day, Toddler, Moschino, Tiny Living, Nifty Knitting, and Paranormal Stuff
- Little Campers Kit
- Holiday Celebration Pack
- Of these, I downloaded the following through Origin: Get to Work, Kids Room Stuff, Movie Hangout Stuff, Jungle Adventure, Realm of Magic, and Eco Lifestyle.
At first, only the earliest packs I owned appeared — Get to Work, Get Together, City Living, Outdoor Retreat, Spa Day, Movie Hangout, Romantic Garden, Kids Room, Backyard, and Holiday. I tried fixing the issue by uninstalling the game via Steam and reinstalling it with all the DLC I bought on it (it took hours), but most of them still won't appear in-game, even though they're right there in my file directory.
@NitroIndigo I'd definitely contact EA support at this point. Even if you can't get a refund, you'll at least be able to ask if there's anything wrong with your purchases.
