I'm sorry but this simply is not good enough.
This is a 3rd time I am experiencing the exact same issue. After downloading the newest pack, my in-game language gets messed up and I am having to waste my time contacting EA reps to get it fixed!
It's an unbelievable oversight on EA's end, and there is no reason or excuse for not giving players flexibility when it comes to selecting in-game language! Not only this is annoying, but also a serious accessibility flaw. It's beyond belief that it needs to be said in 2023.
Please can this be rectified, as from what I can see this is a recurring issue that players have had to deal with for a while now.
EA Play is really working hard for its bad reputation.
- 3 years agoThis issue hasn't been resolved yet. The explanation that I was given makes zero sense. Please can someone contact me with a serious solution? I've been playing sims 4 for 3 years in a new region and I was able to play it in spanish. I've spent a lot of money in all the packs as I love this game. This is extremely dissapontng that I can't have a real solution for this.

I've had more than 20 email exchanges with support and they just give me fake solutions in a loop. They either send me a link to a thread on this forum where there's a similar issue but it's about Origin, which doesn't exist anymore or they tell me to start a live chat with support, which is an option that no longer exists.
It's been more than 2 weeks now since this issue started, more than 20 email exchanges and absolutely 0 solutions. I'd even say nobody paid real attention to what my issue is, they just send me similar issues some people had at some point in time more than 6 years ago.
I've purchased 35 items for this game (from base game, to expansions and packs) and almost 1,000 hours played to this game. I found this unacceptable and really hope you guys start finding a solution for this. I'm trully dissapointed to everyone at Maxis and EA.
