Any new graphic card will work fine. That it is not in the list doesn't mean much. If you have problems with performance turn down the graphic setting in the game settings.
The graphics list are frequently updated but are not in the laundry list as that is for bug fixes.
If you have problems with something else please specify and supply a DxDiag. https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/pc/how-to-gather-dxdiag-information/

I've attached a screenshot of the problem. The problem is the game won't start up half the time with the error message given. I have no idea why this is, but all my research says that the issue is with the game's own list of compatible GPUs.
It's about 50/50 whether the game boots or not. I've got zero CC and only a handful of bugfixing mods that aren't likely to have any impact.
Needless to say, my GeForce RTX 4060 GPU is more than capable of running the Sims 4 at maximum settings.

@DarthSimlish This particular error is most often related to a graphics driver issue or an overly aggressive antivirus, not whether the GPU is in the game's database. (That throws a different error but doesn't prevent the game from opening.) So please provide the dxdiag that jpkarlsen requested. Please also list the antivirus you use.
