simsofthedevil Can you load a different household in the same save, and if so, how long can you play before the game crashes? If the other household is fine, try loading your main one again after at least a few sim-hours and let me know how it goes.
If you can't load any household in your main save, even ones you haven't played before, please confirm that you can play a new save without any issues. If the new save crashes too, I'd like to see a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
