BearyBry Did the crash happen with any mods or custom content installed? It could be a mods/cc issue, or another save-specific issue, or a system issue. Please post a dxdiag just in case, and I'll look it over. And let me know if it happens again, and in what context.

I think there are a couple of modders building the kind of tool you're looking for, but my understanding is that they're in beta and not reliable yet, and also that they rely on other modders to cooperate, so they may never be completely accurate.
