Pressed New Game instead of Load Game

Hi!

I accidentally pressed the new game option on the main menu instead of the load game option, and all my saved content is no longer there. Even the option to load game on the menu is not there, just the play button. I have tried moving the saves, folders, etc., but nothing has worked. I really don't want to lose all my progress because I clicked one button. Please help!
