Hi yall, after couple of months I tried to play the sims 4 and after clicking “play” button it asks me to log in. When I do it, it simply just says that my account is linked to epic games account and nothing happens afterwards. I don’t have any mods installed. Pls help me
Gohnnie What exact error are you getting: just the one to play through Epic, or something else?
You may need to contact EA customer support to ask that the Epic version of Sims 4 be removed from your account as well.
marcinandkamil77 No, sorry, I don't like to do one-on-one support. The point of the forums is to find an answer that can be shared: other users can look it up, helpers can build on existing knowledge, that kind of thing.
marcinandkamil77 Is your EA account in fact linked to an Epic account, and do you own Sims 4 through EA, Epic, or both? Did you install the game through the EA App or the Epic launcher?
Please also post a screenshot of the error you see. You can attach it to a reply by clicking the camera (Insert Media) icon with the other formatting options.
I'm having the same problem. Despite installing the game through EA App it was still marked as installed through Epic Store. I uninstalled Epic and reinstalled every sims on EA App, but it still sees it as if installed through Epic, when I don't have Epic on my pc anymore. I was always purchasing Sims 4 through EA App, I owned base game way before it was free as well.
Pop out for me just asks to install "com.epicstore.exe".
