Problem with SIMS4

Hi Guys,

    I've had the game for many months now and have really enjoyed playing it but now I have a 'glitch' of some sort as follows: I get into the game and it will not allow me to go to the game it always goes first to the 'build/install' new family section where I have to creat a character. Then it allows me to go to the game but it appears to be a whole new game with nothing saved from previous games. I start to build a new structure on a purchased lot and the game will not let me install walls. I attrempt to do so and the walls do not appear but I am charged for them, if I attempt to place an already designed room it will not accept it. When I attrempt tp close out the game and save it what I get is  " The game failed to save: error code: 0 "

    What I have attempted is to completely delete the game from my files & re install it with the same results as listed above. I then complete deleted ORIGIN from my PC and completely deleted the game and than re-installed bot of them and again I got the same results as above.

My questions are : can this be repaired or should I just buy a new SIMS4 and would you give me any credit towards a completely new game ?
