Random Celebrities and townies appearing on home lot

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? come back from another town or vacation lot, see a bunch of random people appear on your lot soon after coming home. has only happened a few times to me.
What happens when the bug occurs? around 10-15 people come to your lot (mostly celebrities) and will use stuff in your home as they please. can't be asked to leave, I noticed it said "The talent showcase is over" in a notification and everybody went home after some time of them being there.
What do you expect to see? no groups of people appearing at my lot without me asking them to do so.

I came back from a 3-day "vacation" to strangerville (Not really a vacation, just stayed at an npcs house without their permission to simulate a holiday.) and about an hour in game after coming back suddenly the neighbours, random townies from other worlds, celebrities came to my house and started using my pool, my utensils and appliances. without my sims being able to tell them off or ask them to leave. about 13 appeared. I noticed that it said "The talent showcase is over! sorry to everybody that couldn't participate." and soon after that the sims that were invading my house left. this has happened in the past and it's quite frustrating, before it was 2 vendors appearing in my house and standing there for around 3 days in Sulani. another occurrence was where around 7 sims came to my sims house and started acting like I had scheduled a house party (which I did not.) the first time I had just moved in. the second happened after coming back from Granite Falls
please help, my sims just want to woohoo in peace. not have bella goth breaking into their house at 1AM.
EDIT: I forgot to mention, during 2 of these incidents random mixologists would appear.
