ive looked at other discussion topics, so im aware this isnt an unusual issue players encounter.
downloaded the expansions on ea app, steam doesnt show them. they are within the steamapps/common/sims4 folder. ea app says i must manage my game via steam, tried uninstalling and reinstalling. i cant figure it out
the ea app was saying that an incompatible version was installed, and to uninstall the steam version so im trying that. lol reinstalling for the third time now with fingers crossed
DmitriKovic Steam won't show your EA App-installed packs, by design. The important question is whether the packs load in-game. If they're in within the program files for your Steam install, they should load.
However, any content you own through Steam is not usable with an EA App install. So unless you want to abandon that content, you'll need to uninstall the EA App version and reinstall through Steam.
