Re: Alien Skin colours missing from CAS

I have just tried the game and I disabled all mods in the game. Went back in and they're 4 extra colours - none of which are the purple, blue and green alien colours.

Put various random occults into CAS, mermaid in mermaid form brings up colours, vampire in vampire form brings up colours. So in any kind of human form the colours do not show.

When I looked at aliens in alien form - all the blue, green and purple colours came up. So it must be a mod that's blocking them - but it's funny they don't show up for all humans and occults in general?

At a guess what kind of mod would effect skintones? I have a few but not skin replacements. Feet replacement, some sliders, skin overlays

Human, Vampire, Mermaid

Aliens (Undisgiused)

Spellcaster

Does that differ from your game if you don't have mods ?

I'm going to check that now - I have been at work for past few days but now on holidays.

I can confirm that without mods my CAS skin tones match your pictures, so it's definitely a mod or CC!?

Wish I cold narrow it down more. Going to have to try and test different mods and CC out the game.

I'm having the same problem, it's weird that it only affects the aliens and nothing else. I've tried disabling mods and testing, but I have hundreds of mods now so it's like looking for a needle in a haystack. But fortunately, the randomizer at the bottom still produces new skin tones which is a good workaround.

I only have one mod installed  *snip* and I am having that problem.

Yep. And it’s like the other commenter stated.

Alien; miscellaneous skintones = none; neutral skintones = none; cool skintones = none.

Mermaid; miscellaneous skin = all.

Spellcaster; miscellaneous skin = all.

Mermaid; miscellaneous skin = none.

Human: miscellaneous skin = none.

I don’t have any cas mods to do with skin/eyes, etc, and yet I’m still missing half the misc skin tones for aliens.  My alien has purple skin and so does her eldest daughter, but the skin doesn’t show up in cas for me to change the youngest to that skin tone.  Anyone got a suggestion as to why?

Also, in addition to that, all the new babies show up as very dark brown skins in the relationship box and family portraits, no matter what their parentage.  The only cas parts I have - I’d forgotten this above - are some coloured hairs to allow my sim children and toddlers to have coloured hair (ie. blue, pink).  

I'm having the same issue and also have these mods. I'm going to take them out and hopefully that will fix my issue!

So I noticed your file was named LunarEclipse-NudeSkinsets[…]AlienEP01_DefaultOverrides. Anything that says DefaultOverride or similar will overwrite the games default version of said content. Most creators will give you a default and non-default option. If you chose the non-default it won't override anything just add to it.
