Re: All Trees/Plants are low Graphic

@IDK16666  I apologize for the late reply.  The driver for your laptop's graphics chip is almost five years old and throwing errors, so the place to start is by updating the driver.  You can try the newest one Lenovo offers first, even though it's not much newer:

https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/yoga-series/yoga-730-13ikb/81ct/downloads/driver-list/component?name=Graphics%20Processing%20Units%20%28GPU%29%20and%20Server-AI%20Accelerators&id=635380F4-448F-4129-AA77-265289D96F6F

To be clear, you're looking for the Intel driver, not Nvidia, since your laptop doesn't have an Nvidia graphics card.  Run the installer as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as adminstrator."  Restart your computer after installing and before trying to play.

If this driver doesn't help, you can try the newest one Intel offers for your processor and graphics chip instead:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/124967/intel-core-i58250u-processor-6m-cache-up-to-3-40-ghz/downloads.html

Install in the same way as described above.

I tried the Lenovo driver, this did not work. I am currently having issues with the Intel one, keeps giving me the error ""Your system has a driver that is locked to manufacturer specification. Please try downloading the latest driver from the manufacturer's website to update. Exit code 1". I went through their support article for this exact problem, and I just keep getting this error. I'm sure I'm just doing something wrong here but I have gone through the instructions a few times now.

@IDK16666  This message means that Lenovo software is blocking the install of any non-Lenovo-provided driver.  It's not uncommon with laptop manufacturers, but somewhat inconvenient when the newest driver the manufacturer provides is several years old, as is the case for your laptop.  Still, try installing the newest driver from Lenovo, the Intel one here:

    https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/yoga-series/yoga-730-13ikb/81ct/downloads/driver-list/component?name=Graphics%20Processing%20Units%20%28GPU%29%20and%20Server-AI%20Accelerators&id=635380F4-448F-4129-AA77-265289D96F6F

Here again, run the installer as an admin (right-click, Run as Administrator), and restart your computer after installing and before trying to play.

It's possible that installing this newest driver will remove the block on non-Lenovo-provided drivers too, so if the newer driver doesn't solve the problem for you, try again to install the one I linked.

I did it again and it didn't work, so I tried again after uninstalling the previous ones (drivers) because I thought that could possibly mess this up. After restarting I had to fix this "the code execution cannot proceed because msvcp140.dll was not found" error with the EA app, so I am currently reinstalling it. I think I messed things up but I am not sure if this is normal or not?

Just got in game, still not fixed.

Alright so I uninstalled the driver from Lenovo (properly this time) and I tried the Intel one again, this time it did install, but the error is still in my game regardless.

@IDK16666  Please go into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 and delete options.ini.  Then load the game again, change the graphics settings to whatever you'd like to use, quit, reload, and let me know whether the problem still appears.  If it does, please post a new dxdiag.
