@emilygrce  This is certainly a good laptop for Sims 4, and as good as you're going to see in a laptop without gaming hardware.  There a few non-gaming laptops with faster graphics cards, but they tend to be somewhat more expensive, usually over £1,000 and sometimes much higher.  So this is about the best choice you could make, from a performance standpoint, in this category.  I'd expect the laptop to handle high graphics settings at least, and probably a mix of high and ultra.

As for the size and weight, the 15" screen probably won't matter.  It's really not much different to carry around than a 14" screen.  The weight might matter, but 1.8 kg isn't a lot inside a bag.  Check the weight of your current laptop for comparison.  If it's not in the spec sheet you received, you can google the exact model and find the data online; just make sure it's for the same configuration, for example a mechanical drive weighs enough that it makes a material difference.

I can search for other options for you, but I doubt I'd find anything better, especially if you're looking for a more lightweight model.  Still, let me know if you'd like me to look around.
