@AnnahMariaH9999 The mouse will only rotate items when in build mode. So just switch to that briefly when you want to turn something. Let me know if it works this way for you, please. I am curious if you are having a possible hardware conflict or if you can use features as I do.

@AnnahMariaH9999 For me, the rotating items with my mouse was disabled when I switched to Sims 3 camera settings. I prefer the Sims 3 camera functions better. I use "." and "," to rotate objects in buy/build mode like the other user said. Could it be possible you switched on S3 camera settings by mistake?
