Re: Can's download island living? brings up weird origin menu instead? I used steam.

despite disabling it and restarting sims 4 it's still there which is only discouraging my to make any purchases even more I don't understand why this is happening out of nowhere and I'm probably overreacting but this is the first expansion i'm purchasing with my own money and not my parents and I want everything to go smoothly. It's just very strange that it's suddenly blocking me from making purchases ingame

edit: I checked it in the games settings and now it's gone nut I get this

    I recommend making the purchase directly through the Steam game client or the Steam website instead of The Sims in-game store. You can find Island Living in the Steam store here.

    well I guess I have too since it won't give me any other option, I hope to be able to download ingame again in the future since it seem quicker and simpler that way

    I'll update if there's any more problems

    it worked! thank you so much for taking the time to help me out even though I was a bit stubborn on having to purchase on steam. Island living is working just fine after the purchase and I can't wait to mess around with it!!
