Don't know what's causing it.

I'll try find out about the tinker but for order, could you post in the other thread for now ?

Oddly enough I put back in my old files and now I can buy parts? How odd

That is odd .. but if you look at the other thread .. it's an odd issue.

I'm moving this to the tech forum as you got your buy menu back.

I'm unsure on the tinker. This might actually only be available on the scientist career for Sims 4 .. maybe someone else remembers.

Yes, Tinker is only available in the scientist career.
