I'm afraid that may not be the case according to this creator. I'm really worried that it's going to have to be up to the creators to fix. This is bad.

A tech at sims 4 studio said they looked into the issue an see that a batch fix may be possible. So hopefully in a few days or so there will be a fix.

The exact thing happened to me!! I've tried E V E R Y T H I N G: updating all my cc, removing all of it, tried repairing my files, updated the game and origin various times, even deleted the game and re-installed it but NOTHING works and it's honestly starting to * me off. What's going on????

I tried to load my game this evening, but I have an error code popping up (140:95e2d14f:30cc6644) and also another message saying that there is something wrong with 'aspirations'? I'm entirely sure what is going on. I have moved around all of my mods and repaired the game but the messages still keep popping up. I'm just hoping that someone might have experienced this before? Attached you'll see pictures of the messages I'm getting.

I believe error 140:95e2d14f:30cc6644 is Twisted Mexi's Better Exceptions. He is aware of the bug and is working on a fix. In the meantime, you can remove it from your mods folder, to avoid receiving this particular error. Good luck and have fun!
EA makes no money for cc. infact all cc should be free after two weeks of its release.
I disagree because I was seeing that exact error code before I was even using the mod by twistedmexi .
I dont use mods.. just cc.. i still have the problem. Its from the patch an when they changed the way windows work. It has something to do with the placement of the swatch or something inside the window or door. But I still don't see how it affects doorframes. Unless it's because there's the open space in-between each end. Grrrr.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? There's a glitch which began on game update 9/3/2020
What happens when the bug occurs? CC doors frames are only visible
What do you expect to see? The CC doors are no longer visible and appear to melt into walls. Door frame is only visible but not part of the wall, meaning the frame of door does not create a door space either.

Please describe the patch or change you made. automatic patch on 9/3/2020 occurred, which also failed at 91%. I restarted Origin and download began, stated finalizing, and then appeared to be a normal update. But, only doors appear to be the problem.
All my custom content doors and arches melt into walls with frames only visible. Some of the cc content doors are massively large also. This began after 9/3/2020 patch!!!
***UPDATE***
@crinrict YESTERDAY...I updated this message but it has disappeared. I found a maxis door that also does exactly what the CC doors and windows produce. Please see photo dated 9/13/2020.
