[CURRENT ISSUE] Anti-Virus blocking User Folder (Screenshots/Gallery/Mods..) - Answer HQMay I suggest you click "me too" on the first post and see if crinrict's suggestions help. It looks like you've already tried some of them. By the way, from what I've read, you don't need to disable AV and firewall but add exceptions as crinrict explains in that thread. If you still have problems, perhaps add your details in a post there.

Went on my Avast antivirous programm,clicked on the blocked/allowed apps ,removed "The Sims" from the blocked apps and I put it on the allowed along with Origin....it got fixed right away ♥ - crinrict5 years agoHero+

Do you have just the redx or a message that the game can't connect ?What antivirus are you running ? (even if you disabled it)Guess you also posted your own thread which was merged into this. Glad you solved it
