Hi,
I’m having an issue with enabling mods and custom content in the game. When I turn the option on and restart the game, it doesn’t save and the setting is unchecked again when I launch it. Because of this, I can’t use any mods at all.
I’ve tried turning it on a few times and restarting, but it keeps happening! Also, I’m encountering Error 21 when trying to save the game.
Is your Documents and The Sims 4 folder there synced to a cloud storage service like Microsoft OneDrive? It could be that OneDrive is reverting your settings file and save files while the game is running and causing issues.

Thanks, it finally works! I turned off the backup for the Sims folder on OneDrive and everything started working. Thank you so much you literally saved my life! 😇
