Re: custom content

@alex20809  The custom content has to be there somewhere.  If you find the folder the game is reading, you'll find the cc too.

I've looked in both drivers. I had copied them before I unistalled to an external hard drive. After three times of uninstallong/reinstalling, I am dumbfounded

Please read all the posts. I know how to access the files especially since I made sure I had a copy of them on my external before uninstall ingredients and reinstalling the game

@alex20809  Okay, then let's try this.  Find the path to the user folder as listed in-game.  List it for me here (in case I need to write out a command for you to run).  You can write [username] instead of your actual username, but leave the rest intact.  Then, for reference, open the Mods folder inside that same Sims 4 folder and post a screenshot of the contents.

So I reinstalled the game on my D drive. When you go in the folder that I had installed the game in, the sims files are the only thing in there. I went into it and the only files that are there are expansion pack files for the world's. It acts like it's a brand new installed game yet when you go into the game all my custom content pops up as well as my saved file which wasn't moved over yet

The program files do not contain your user files. Please use the posted description on how to find these. Reinstalling the game does not change the user files.
