Re: Electronic Arts folder sync pending in documents

@BrattyKayy01  The "sync pending" message likely refers to OneDrive waiting to sync the files.  You can cancel it:

and then set OneDrive to not sync the contents of Documents:

and you shouldn't have this particular issue again.

If you do the above and still see performance issues with Sims 4, please try playing with no modds or custom content at all, as in, move the entire Mods folder to the desktop.  You don't need to save your progress; just let me know whether you notice an improvement.
