Re: Error Issue with lot51_core/events/game_object.pyc and One Drive

@Becca2812  Then yes, your user folder is likely also in OneDrive, even if OneDrive itself isn't running.  Please see this for how to get rid of it:

https://answers.ea.com/t5/PC/CURRENT-ISSUE-Sims-4-saves-user-content-disappearing-PC/m-p/12475370#Remove

The first part of that section is for when OneDrive is running, so don't be surprised if you don't see what's described.  But double-check anyway—OneDrive can reenable itself after a Windows update.  The second part, the info after the same reg query command you just ran, describes how to force the Documents directory back to the proper location if necessary.

I followed all the instructions in the prompt you displayed, but I'm stuck at part 4. I do not see anything from the table to find the registry key for the folder that encounters the issue.

    I found it.

I was successfully able to change the location for documents, (Personal) to C:\Users\Offic

however, when I check command prompt, it still displays HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders Personal REG_SZ C:\Users\Offic\OneDrive\Documents.

Every file that displayed Onedrive, I changed the Default value for in Registry Editor

When I check "Document Properties" the location shows "C:\Users\Offic"... So, I am not sure why command prompt is not updating, even when I restarted my laptop.

I would like to say this issue has been corrected. I guess I will not know until I get a B.E error about Onedrive.

Either way, thank you soooooo much for your help.

    I checked my Sims 4 screenshots; this is what I received: C:\Users\Offic\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Recorded Videos\

@Becca2812  Then it sounds like you're fine, nothing to worry about until and unless OneDrive tries to activate itself again.  BE catches the path to the user folder, and since OneDrive isn't in the path, BE shouldn't complain about it.
