I've had this issue since yesterday.

My internet works fine, origin is online yet the game itself won't go online. I keep getting "one or more of the sims online services is currently offline"

No firewall or antivirus blocking the game's access to the internet.

If EA is doing some work shouldn't they at least post about it somewhere, letting the people who actually paid good money for their games know that?

To me this is unacceptable.

    I agree with you. They are not keeping us updated and it's arrogant when we have paid so much money for their game.

    Mine hasn't been working now for nearly 24 hours. Hope it gets solved too but wish that EA would keep us updated with the maintenance side of things. I bought 3 extension packs yesterday and can't even use them. Hope I haven't wasted my money!!
