I've exactly the same problem... Cant do anything besides create a family... 

I can relate, my main problem is that endless plumbob loading, it doesn't allow me to play at all, I guess is a problem caused by the last update, I hope that they will fix it. I can play 5 minutes like you and then the game crash.

@Julia041219  Have you tried repairing the game yet?  I saw from the other thread you posted in that disabling Origin's web helper service didn't fix the problem, but a repair is still worth trying.

If that doesn't help, please remove your entire Sims 4 game folder from Documents\Electronic Arts; you can put it on your desktop.  Start a new save, just for testing, and play for a bit.  Let me know how it runs.

If you get the same crashing with the test save, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

Hi, I also tried to remove the "The sims 4" folder and start a new game, but I still have this problem. I just tried the clean boot suggested by EA, I will let you know if the game woks again. I didn't repair the game yet, I will try on Monday when I go in my father's office, in my home I use my simcard connection, I would use all of my cellphone gigabyte if I repair my game here, btw on Monday I will let you know if I solved the problem after repairing the game.
