Re: I have two Electronic Arts folders, one Program Files, and also in Documents?

@greenims  The folder in Program Files > Electronic Arts is for the EA App and has nothing to do with Sims 4.  It's not a problem, and you can ignore it.

For the Sims 4 issue, please try playing in a clean user folder.  Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, if it launches, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.)  Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just let me know whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play in live mode for a bit.

If that doesn't help, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

    Thank you very much!

I did this and it seemed to work fine. I moved the game back in without the mods folder and it worked, then I moved my mods in a little at a time, and that seemed to do the trick!
