Black loading screen for a year, nothing has worked to fix it

Hi all, I am really at my breaking point with this issue. I have never been super into tech, especially computers and I think this is a PC issue (Windows 11) at this point so I really need some help. I reached out to long time sims 4 redditors and they were stumped as well. My Sims 4 game has been broken for about a year on my PC at this point! When I open the game there is no loading screen or anything, it opens to a black screen. I can still hear the music from behind it but I can't click anything or see my cursor. This then "pauses" my whole PC and to get it to work again I have to shut it down and turn it back on, clicking the home button won't work, the windows button won't work, only completely turning it off and back on works. I used to have loads of mods downloaded but they're long gone by now. I've been having this black loading screen issue since 2024. Deleting all my mods did not work. I have reinstalled the game, as well as the EA app four separate times. I also went as far as to reset my entire PC, deleting everything from it. NONE of this worked. I have repaired the game countless times and have not downloaded a mod since deleting them all months ago.  I do have these packs installed: Cats and Dogs, City Living, Cottage Living, High School Years, Get Famous, Vampires, Werewolves, Parenthood, Desert Luxe, Holiday Celebration Pack and the Legacy version of the game. My game has not worked since a a bit after cottage living came out. I am currently trying to download a new driver because I am just not sure what to do at this point. Please help if you can! I can provide more information if I have it.
