Regardless, it should be able to run Sims 4 on medium-high or high graphics settings, depending on how many packs you install and other factors like your playstyle. Its one advantage over cheaper laptops in the same performance category is its extra RAM, but I don't know that that's worth the price premium when many laptops can be upgraded, including these:

The last two have twice the storage, and while that's not necessary for Sims 4 alone, you might appreciate it if your Minecraft data takes up a lot of space.
All of these are in the same performance category as the one you've linked: they should all run Sims 4 within a few percentage points of each other. I don't know enough about Minecraft to give you a good idea of how these would run it, but I do know that Minecraft can run on very low-end computers, so at worst, you might have to turn down the settings.
