Re: Must reinstall after September 18 update
I'm not able to launch Sims 4 whatsoever. I can open the EA App, and it appears to begin launching the game & minimizes EA, but then it just fails and the EA App comes back into view. I've tried clearing cache, restarting app, checking for EA updates, restarting my computer, updating drivers, scanning for issues via my antivirus software, cleaning up old files, forcing dx9, etc. I'm not getting any error codes or error messages either. I've also tried running as administrator.
I updated my game yesterday and it loaded up just fine, but today it won't at all.
After running perfmon/rel, I have an issue with EADesktop.exe and the description shows me this:
