Hmmm maybe my lagging is coming from the patch? seeing as you also have crashing problems, but you don't have CC or mods...
Same, ever since I downloaded Cottage living my game has been lagging. It has crashed twice in the past hour of playing, whilst also not saving any of my game play. It's so frustrating because it makes my entire computer freeze and there's no way of resetting the game, I just have to leave it open until it unfreezes itself.
